Tried fishing, but the sky seemed rather loaded! When you look up and see a pair of lips coming down upon you, you take the camera, rod and box and run back to the house. The heron is quite confused. It's not raining, but storms are all around here. We got a minimal dose of rain, as usual, will the lake ever rise just a foot?
The heron does not understand how I come out and snap his photo, but I won't go down to the lake. He jumps up on the stump and looks at the house, he looks at me sadly. The crane is not here right now and the cats are too smart to get wet. So I'm looking out the back, no rain, ominous sky and a heron egging me on...maybe tomorrow
