And just when I thought I was doing good by walking yesterday and then gardening for a bit and finishing the painting of one bedroom wall, I realized I did something bad to my back. It became quite painful to bend and twist, even to pet a cat was not happening.
You think you can do it all when you're older, you don't feel your age and then whammo - back outta whack! I'm taking Tylenol and trying to take it easy, getting my son to do all the stuff that has me cringing. Suddenly the whole house needs cleaning
and gee, I can't do it, but Adam can! I'm not that mean! Actually I went out to take some pics of the sky this am as a long long cloud stretched from north to south. I thought for a minute it might be bringing rain, but in typical disolving fashion, it was gone after 15 minutes. I think this part of Sanford belongs to the Bermuda Triangle as the rain clouds can't seem to find their way to cry over us. All around us within a mile it can be raining hard, but it doesn't make it to Loch Arbor!
As it is always 'Ground Hog' day here, the bird on the chimney performs his solo, the cranes come to dine, and this morning a mysterious 5th crane appeared next door. The intruder was charged at by papa crane and then all of them flew off together, (if you click on the picture you will see enlarged all 5 flying away.) Maybe he was a suiter for the one smaller baby crane which appears to be female from her demeanor. She seems shy. While the other baby crane is tall as his papa and is agressive, he will crowd out the others to grab food. Last night I had a laugh as the mother crane got mad at his bullying and pecked him on the head several times.
And of course, a picture of Ringo at my back door just waiting to come in and eat and curl up behind the television for the afternoon, how can you resist those blue eyes? Now it's my turn to leave this chair, I am anticipating the ache that will grab me as I stand. I guess I will stay on my feet all day as it is easier to stay up then go down, where's Adam, I see the floor needs vacuuming...
